#28I came to visit some friends in Dallas. Im used to clubs in NY so I wasn't sure where they would take me. We ended up going to Aura and had a great time. There were lots of beautiful girls and just good looking people. We ended up getting bottle service and our waitress took great care of us. I would definitely be back. Its funny it just so happened that they had a guest DJ that night from NY(Carlos Melange) so i would also say they have a pretty good taste in DJ's/Music as well.

#23Pretty terrible crowd, this place has gone down the drains! I've been to better "lounges" in Dallas. Do not advise this joint. Go else where for a great upscale night on the town because customer service is 100% crap. Aura needs to shut down, do it for the party people.

#21My friend and I paid to valet and got in line with about 10 people in front of us. Tell me why we waited in line for an hour. By the time we got to the front we realized what really was going on. We looked behind us and everyone in line was colored. Funny how white people in the back were picked out of line to come in. When we asked what was going on he told us if we didn't have a table we had to wait longer. A few moments later a white girl came up and said this was her first time coming and wanted to get in. Of course she was let in. My friend and I left at that point and hit up another place. Sad that things like this still happen.

#18Aura is insane. The music is dope & the people are hot. I only see people conplain about getting in if they don't fit the description. Like every upscale club anywhere, either you have to know the right people or look the part to get access. But overall Aura is always on point with the events they throw. Great Club.

#17If you are not white then please do not even bother going to this club. It is 2010 and I can't believe they still practice this color-coordination crap! The door man was obviously racist...I noticed he let 3 white girls in and turned down 4 hispanic ladies right afterwards! Pathetic! Where is Jessie Jackson when you need him?!

#13Very pretentious........the door men were assholes. I valet parked my car then they weren't going to let me in even though my party of friends was already there. Very arrogant staff that didn't realize that I make more than 3 times their salary. DJ wasn't good. Other places in Dallas and uptown that are much better.

#12My girl and I went recently on a Saturday night. I thought it would be better. Bad service and not-so-pretty people was what we experienced. We definitely don't recommend Aura.

#10Went to Aura this past weekend 09/26/2009, myself and 2 of my boys. Got there at 10:15 P.M., paid $10 to Valet our car only to get to the door and the door guy asking if we were on a list. We said we were not, he then asks us to wait while he let other groups in, of course all girls in before us. Then proceeds to tell us that it\'s a private party and we can\'t get in.
After talking to him for a moment it became clear that we could get in for a price, so after already paying $10 to valet we pitched in $40 dollars addional to get in the club.
Then you\'re looking at $11 dollar shots, $5 dollar beers, etc....You can find better for cheaper and you can definitely find places you can get in without having to slip door guy money.
Will not go back, would not recommend.

#8THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CLUB I HAVE SEEN IN DALLAS. I COME IN FOR BUSINESS FROM CALI EVERY OTHER MONTH AND KEEP GOING BACK TO AURA. IT SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY PLACE IN DALLAS THAT HAS DONE IT RIGHT. ME AND MY GIRLS LOVE IT....
